This site collects almost nothing
This page says exactly what it does collect, where it goes and for how long.
On the site
sharpgrey.com sets no cookies and runs no analytics. Every request a page makes stays on our own domain: the fonts are served from here, and nothing is loaded from a third party. There are no trackers, no embedded players and no social buttons.
The site stores one value in your browser’s session storage, so that an animation plays once per visit instead of on every page. It holds no information about you, and the browser discards it when the tab closes.
Server logs
The site runs on our own server at DigitalOcean, in Toronto. It keeps no log of visits. Its error log can record the address behind a request that failed. We use that only to fix faults, and the log is overwritten as it fills.
When you write to us
If you email hello@sharpgrey.com or press@sharpgrey.com, we keep your message and our reply for as long as the conversation or the project lasts. We delete it when you ask. We don’t add you to any list, and we don’t pass your address on.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or object to its use, by writing to hello@sharpgrey.com. We answer every request.
The products
IWE, Fetchpawz and Pocket Philosophy each have their own privacy policy, published on their own site. This policy covers sharpgrey.com only.
Changes
When this policy changes, the date changes with it, and the change is described in plain words.
